Hi, I’m Tojo Rasedoara — a sound designer, audio engineer, and composer passionate about shaping story through sound. I hold an MFA in Sound Design from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and a background in both live sound and theatrical design.
I’ve designed and mixed shows at places like Yale Rep, Juilliard, Chautauqua Theater Company, Vineyard Theatre, and Vassar College, working on everything from new plays and musicals to experimental projects and festivals. Whether it’s designing a full show, building speaker plots, or mixing live on an Midas m32 or equivalent, I love bringing ideas to life through bold, detailed sound.
I’m skilled in QLab, Pro Tools, Logic, Dante, and wireless systems, and I’m comfortable leading crews, programming complex systems, or jumping in on the fly. I’m also multilingual (English, French, Malagasy) and always excited to collaborate across disciplines, cultures, and aesthetics.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: help stories hit deeper through sound — whether that’s a whispered cue, a monster growl, or the perfect silence.
